My mare has just spent 8 weeks with Harriet and Mikey while I was out of action following foot surgery. I was quite worried as she is 25 years old and I've owned her for 18 years, so to send her to a strange place without me was a big ask ! It was the best decision I could have made! The care and attention she received was second to none. I visited her several times and could tell she was completely relaxed and settled. It meant I had complete peace of mind so could concentrate on getting myself fit again. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much Harriet and Mikey.

I sent my mare to Mikey and Harriet, she is 9 years old and needed to be restarted for many reasons. They took her right back to basics and with patience and kindness took her from a horse that was unsure what was wanted from her to - well we now have a completely different horse, she is super chilled knows all the aids, knows exactly what we are asking from her. She now enjoys her job. And I no longer have a mare that is frightened and unsure. I've taken all of Mikey & Harriets advice and each day my mare just keeps surprising me. I will be forever grateful to both of them and she will always go to them for further education. My mare has been with Harriet and Michael for 4 weeks. Honestly can say it was the best decision I’ve ever made for my horse sending her to Lillisford for re-schooling/competition livery whilst I’m pregnant. My mare went to Lillisford after three months off and was being a totally different horse to the one I’d bought and had started misbehaving. After just a week with Harriet and Michael, she was back to her happy self and loving her work. They’re both patient and kind to my horse (and me!) and demonstrate true horsemanship. I would recommend Lillisford to anyone.

Mikey teaches my 8 year old not overly confident rider and she has improved so quickly with Mikey.
Mikey has an amazing way with children, he is very caring and thoughtful and takes his time and doesnt rush. He is very experienced, punctual and professional at all times.

Whilst Chris was in your care, you treated him like your own, provided him with a tailored training plan which kept him in top form. You furthered his schooling and jumping education, competed him and brought out the best in him, which enabled him to find a new lovely home. You took all of the stress and worry out of a emotional decision and for this I am very grateful!

Mikey & Harriet are lovely people and they run a thoroughly professional livery business. My horse Cupidam thrived under their care. Mikey competed him regularly for me during the spring and early summer - he was usually in the ribbons. Highly recommended!

The support and encouragement from Mikey in his lessons has improved my riding ability and knowledge. He recognizes when exercises are not working and restructures to suit the horse and rider. This has improved my confidence, the lessons are fun and I always feel an achievement after each lesson.

I sent my youngster to Mikey & Harriet to be backed earlier on this year due to lack of facilities and nerves! I was kept informed of his progress and was able to visit regularly, he was very settled whilst in their care and the same old Murphy when he came home. He made good progress and hacked out as requested, as that was my main requirement and intention for the near future.
